Glamping is fast becoming one of the most popular ways to enjoy the outdoors. A more luxurious take on camping, you can spend the day surrounded by nature before coming home to a real bed and lots of other creature comforts. Champagne chilling in the fridge? Yes please!
With glamping, you don’t need to invest in expensive gear, sleep on the floor, or worry about whether your tent will keep you warm and dry. It’s a new way for nature lovers to live luxuriously amidst the outdoors, and it’s an ideal choice for laidback weddings with a festival vibe.
Glamping at Northside Farm
Our luxury glamping pods offer a unique experience for you and your guests. Surrounded by young fruit trees in our orchard, each of our 10 pods sleeps up to five people. Specially designed to be wheelchair accessible, they also benefit from the following features:
- Lighting, heating and electric points
- Fitted with a fridge, kettle, and microwave
- Fire / BBQ pits
- Designated parking space
- Decking area
- Child friendly
- Pets welcome
The nearby stable has laundry facilities, a washing-up area, and four family-sized bathrooms – one of which is more accessible for guests who use wheelchairs. All bathrooms are heated and include a shower, sink, and toilet along with baby changing facilities. We can also provide baby baths for children to wash in if they don’t like showers. The only gear you need to bring is your cooking equipment, utensils, crockery and cutlery.
Your Wedding Accommodation
The glamping pods at Northside Farm comfortably accommodate up to 50 people and arrangements can be made for additional guests to pitch tents or park camper vans nearby. In 2019, we’re adding a handful of beautiful fairytale cottages to the farm. We also work with a lovely company called Northern Star Tepees who provide gorgeous pop-up glamping villages to sit alongside our pods.
As well as creating a real buzz, one of the best things about our glamping accommodation is that your guests can stay together in one space, meaning the party can continue long after the newlyweds have retreated to bed! Just picture your friends and family finishing the night around a cosy campfire…
